Uphold doesn’t currently offer a standalone desktop app. Instead, you use their platform directly through a web browser:

1. Open your preferred browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.).
2. Navigate to uphold.com and click Uphold Login
3. Enter your email and password.

A QR code will appear on your screen. To complete the login securely:

• Open your Uphold mobile app.
• You should see a login prompt. Tap “Yes, it’s me” or scan the QR code with your phone’s camera
• Once confirmed, your desktop will synchronize and your dashboard will appear.

Note: At the time of writing (July 2025), this QR/push method is rolling out gradually and may not be available for all users immediately .

2. Navigating Your Desktop Dashboard

Once logged in on the browser, you can:

• View balances across multiple asset “cards” (fiat, crypto, precious metals)
• Deposit funds via bank transfer, debit/credit card, or crypto transfer.
• Trade assets instantly between fiat, crypto, stablecoins, and metals.
• Withdraw or send funds to external wallets or bank accounts.

The web interface guides you through each action—deposit, trade, withdraw—with clear on-screen prompts.

If you use the Brave Browser and control Brave Rewards, you can link your Uphold account for BAT payouts directly in the browser.

• After connecting, Brave sends BAT rewards to your Uphold account.
• If you encounter errors, ensure both Brave and Uphold are updated and follow on-screen prompts
