Seasons were supported in significant amounts of time in Diablo 3, so we're hoping they'll also be prominent in Diablo 2 Resurrected. That seasonal approach can also set Diablo 2 Resurrected up to be another irresistible Game Pass game, should the merger eventually close. A game such as Diablo featuring solid gameplay is the perfect match for a service specifically designed to allow players to pop back into online games following a short period of. But since the game is set to launch in June and the fight for an upcoming future for Activision ongoing, this is one title which is unlikely to receive an Game Pass treatment on day one, unless something radically changes.
